I jumped on the enamel pin bandwagon!

Finally, new stuff in the store!

I made some pins! You can buy them on my Etsy site or at Mission: Comics & Art. My Owl design finds new life as a cheerful little pin. Both colorful and shiny, they add color to any ensemble, hipster or otherwise. Three different color choices are available now!

NEW STICKERS!

Holy Smokes, there's news!

Hi, it's been a long time. I've done a few things but I'd like to start with a few stickers I've made. You can get them over at Sticker Mule.

UPDATE: Stickermule discontinued their marketplace. I will get another place to sell them.

Hope you are well, Jason

My first solo show, ever!

I am honored to be showing my work in the gallery at Mission: Comics & Art this June. It is my very first solo show and I can't think of a better place to have it. This show is a collection of paintings and digital pieces completed during the last couple of years. It will include past works from themed shows, some never shown in a public place, and some I just did because that's what you do when you are an artist. Prints of some of the work will be available at the show along with various other Jason Dryg original odds and ends. Below is the official flyer for the show.

The receptions at Mission: Comics & Art are always a great party and it's in the heart of the Mission. Surrounded by some of the finest dining and most vivid nightlife in San Francisco, it promises to be a great night out. I hope you can come by.

Special thanks goes to the gallery owner, Leef.  His incredible generosity, commitment to community, and support of the arts is unrivaled.

Thanks for stopping by,

Jason

Sparkly painting 2013

Here is a new painting for my first ever solo show in June 2013. It is an acrylic painting on wood, based on my signature squid/alien characters. They started as digital pieces that I wanted to make more solid and real. It is a wierd transition going from digital to traditional. I really had to let go of the control and exactness that digital allows. That said, I think it came out pretty good.

Boobies redux

I don't know how I missed that boobies have yellow eyes. Heres a retool with some fine tuning and yellow eyes. I'm calling it finished

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! Not really my holiday, but a good excuse to eat some good food and candy.

This is an original illustration I bought for $25. It's such a good example of classic illustration, though a tad on the cutesy side. Its just one of the many things I've collected over the years that I don't know what to do with.
