While I think the likeness is okay, today's drawing/collage lacks the spontaneity of yesterday's. It seems forced. But hey, 2 days in a row.

I like Vince Guaraldi. I was not at home and decided to use the materials I could find at the office, sorry Rusty (my boss). Anywho, this is what happened.

Here's one. My 30 for 30 drawing challenge is officially a failure. However, I did draw a lot and am confident next month will be better. It was the "finished" aspect that tripped me up.

The 30 drawings in 30 days challenge is not
going as well as I had hoped. I figured I would sit down an draw and every session would result in a drawing. This is not how it is playing out. I am drawing everyday though and that is great.

I am doing at least a drawing a day for April and here's drawing #2, I drew the first full idea i had, unedited. I don't know why this was the first thing I thought of.

This is gonna be a fun show. A bunch of us donated work to help a friend and fellow artist get his tooth fixed. The show is called "Root Canal". All of the members of Local 303 have donated work, even though I didn't make the flier. Our good friend Leef has donated the gallery at his shop, Mission: Comics & Art, and there is a reception on Thursday, 4-7-11, starting at 7:00 pm.
Come by and get some art and comics.

For the month of April, I have decided to complete a drawing a day for the entire month. I think it's more about discipline than the quality or complexity of the drawing itself. Discipline is my greatest weakness. I feel I need improve and a challenge on public record seemed like a good way to wage war on one weakness with another, pride. Just joshing, sort of. I hope to post daily. If you are interested in buying a piece, Let me know.
